No, this is not the North Pole. This is Reyk­javik.
The cam­era­man of Mbl.is ven­tured into the sub­urbs of the city on Tues­day, the day of the snow­storm. to check out how the traf­fic was go­ing.
As you can see he en­coun­tered lor­rys and jeeps stuck in moun­tains of snow, chil­dren be­ing picked up by their par­ents from school, chil­dren on swings in the mid­dle of teh storm and even a hardy cy­clist.
There seems to be no end to the snow this De­cem­ber, with con­tin­u­ing snow­fall daily.
Yes, this is where we live.

Kijk.. dat zijn nog eens die hard mensen. Gewoon de fiets pakken en gaan. Net als de ki deren die gewoon buiten heerlijk aan het schommelen zijn.
