Celestial Lights

Celestial Lights is het 2e video project van Ole C. Salomonsen.
Hij heeft deze opnamen gemaakt in de noordelijke delen van Noorwegen, Finland en Zweden
tijdens de herfst van 2011, en de winter/voorjaar 2012.


Ole Salomonsen caught these views of Aurora Borealis in Finland, Sweden and Norway during Autumn and Winter 2011-2012. This is his second time-lapse movie, but the overhead shots are near real-time. (yes! the lights move THAT fast!)

Some scenes show the background stars whirling across the sky.
These scenes took hours, with slow-moving aurora.
Time-lapse makes it look fast.
Other scenes show the stars barely moving.
These scenes took minutes and almost represent real-time motion.

Ik zag um al voorbij komen via twitter, magistraal!

Wat je bij 59 seconden ziet, zo heb ik het ook gezien, maar kon nooit mensen vertellen/laten zien hoe dat nou precies was, hopelijk kan ik dat nu beter (echter het gevoel is niet te beschrijven, krijg het er al weer warm van binnen van als ik er naar kijk)
